Antoine Preziuso, captivated by the unique charm of eastern nights, now expresses this lunar splendour in a model which he has naturally christened "Moon Light".
Against a midnight blue background spangled with tiny white dots of all sizes, inviting one to journey through the galaxy, the full, elegantly curving 12, 9 and 3 numerals stand out like proud sentinels and are coated with luminova to light up the night. Distinctive aerodynamic hour-markers at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o'clock, complemented by dots at 1, 3, 5 and 7 o'clock. No seconds hand to interfere with the visual purity and stately cadence of a watch that speaks of cycles and eternity rather than of fleeting moments in time.
Generously rounded leaf-shaped hands glide over the dial like a caress, framed by a pink gold or white gold cas fitted with a matching blue strap in the finest leather. Nestling in the 6 o'clock position, the moon-phase display majestically shifts in time with the movements of its ethereal counterpart.
By special request, the dial may be crafted in pink or white gold, exquisitely engraved by hand to create a stunning effect. The uniquely textured dial background, hand-chased with a graining tool, is embellished with raised wave effects, reminiscent of the intimate connection between the moon and the tides... On these models, the moon-phase display itself is naturally also decorated with infinite care and motifs that render each watch truly unique, since the master-craftsman will never exactly reproduce the same gestures twice...
And for those who have always longed to view the other side of the moon, the self-winding movement, naturally also engraved to create a lunar structure entirely in keeping with the mood of this exceptional creation, can be admired through the sapphire case-back.
While American author Wallace Steven wrote that "The book of moonlight is not written yet", this is definitely one of its finest chapters in preparation...
