David Gouten was born in France in 1967. After his studies in International Business, he started his career in the automotive industry where he held various positions such as Product Manager and Marketing Manager for a automotive distributor in France. He then moved to Switzerland, to join the watchmaking industry and lead a small manufacture based in Neuchâtel.
After 4 successful years, he accepted a new challenge and joined Harry Winston Rare Timepieces as the Vice President of Sales. In almost 10 years in this position, David made a huge contribution to the brand equity, by developing a very selective and efficient distribution network at a global level and being highly implicated in Product Development. The results are a 20-30% sales increase every year since he joined the company.
In November 2011 David welcomed a new challenge in the role of the Chief Executive Officer of DeLaneau, where he will develop the growth of the company wordwide and provide it with exceptional guidance and product knowledge.
David has a 14 year-old daughter and in addition to his passion for watches, he is also involved in sports and is a fan of biking and cars.
