La prochaine édition du SIHH se déroulera du 7 au 12 avril 2008 en lien avec Baselworld, rappellent mardi les organisateurs. Le nombre d'exposants restera "identique" (seize marques), en dépit de la demande formulée par d'autres entreprises horlogères. Les organisateurs évoquent "des raisons techniques d'espace", dictées par les expositions périphériques programmées par Geneva Palexpo.

A watchmaking winter in 2009
The next SIHH will take place from April 7th to 12th, 2008, concomitantly with Baselworld. Certain watchmaking companies have expressed the wish to join the "Cité de la Haute Horlogerie" on this occasion. However, in view of space required for the peripheral exhibitions programmed by GENEVA PALEXPO, the number of brands exhibiting at the SIHH will remain the same in 2008, with their allocated areas.
The SIHH 2009 will take place from January 19th to 24th, 2009. Indeed, in view of dates which are already confirmed for the Geneva Motor Show, and the other events programmed by GENEVA PALEXPO, the Basel and Geneva fairs cannot coincide. For this reason the SIHH has reviewed its dates.
