The Monaco Grand Prix weekend opened to a night of glitz andglamour as the women of Formula 1 and top fashion models took to the catwalk for AmberFashion: Grand Prix & Fashion Unite. Hosted by Amber Lounge in aid of the TerezaMaxova Foundation for orphaned and abandoned children, the event succeeded in raising €345'000 on the night.
High patron of the event, HSH Prince Albert II (see photo) was joined in the audience byGuests of Honour Bernie and Slavica Ecclestone and their daughter Tamara. Flavio Briatore and drivers Giancarlo Fisichella, Heikki Kovalainen, Lewis Hamilton, Adrian Sutil,Scott Speed, Pedro de la Rosa, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and actress Bai Ling were alsoamongst the celebrity guests. RAYMOND WEIL was the official watch partner of pre- andpost-show party and auctioned a unique jewellery timepiece for Charity.

ITV F1 presenter Steve Rider and former model Victoria Silvstedt hosted the show whichtook place at the beautiful pool setting of the Sea Club, Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel,Monaco (see photo).

Amber Fashion began with a unique performance by electric violinist Linzi Stoppard andwent on to feature two collections by the Danish-born Monaco-based designer IsabellKristensen. The first was Swimwear pret-a-porter: Dreams by Isabell Kristensen

The second, 2007 Couture by Isabell Kristensen, was opened by Petra Ecclestone,daughter of F1 supremo Bernie. Elegant SHINE watches by RAYMOND WEILcomplemented the gowns
In the event auction run by Sotheby's France, auctioneer Alain Renner was ably assisted byPetra Nemcova and Tereza Maxova. Among the lots offered for auction, a uniquetimepiece by RAYMOND WEIL. A DON GIOVANNI COSÌ GRANDE Walk of Fame jewellerywatch presented with a certificate of authenticity signed by Olivier Bernheim, President &CEO of RAYMOND WEIL and HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. Adjudication price: €45'000.Bidders included Phillip Green, Bernie Ecclestone, Flavio Briatore and Prince Albert ofMonaco (see photos).

Amongst the F1 drivers' wives and girlfriends who took part were Silvana Barrichello,Rafaella Bassi (Felipe Massa), Carrie Davidson, Luna Fisichella, Tanja Frentzen, Erja Hakkinen, Catherine Hyde (Heikki Kovalainen), Kelly McNish, Valentina Neuhauser (ScottSpeed) and Julia Wurz. They were joined on the catwalk by the top models Petra Nemcova, Jessica Sjoo, Lauren Gold and Tereza Maxova and ‘Germany's Next TopModel' Lena Gercke amongst others.

Jewellery watch among RAYMOND WEIL's creations, this chronograph features amechanical movement with automatic winding and boasts a 42-hour power-reserve. The 47 rubies on the movement ensure optimal performance through the train and balancewheel(28,800 vibrations per hour).
The 18 carat, white gold rectangular case is set with 202 full-cut VVS or VS diamonds. Thedial, hand-crafted and made of natural mother-of-pearl slightly bluish, displays 214 full-cutVVS or VS diamonds and 10 blue sapphires, princess cut. A total of 426 gems for thiswatch (3.05 carats).
All the hi-tec precision of RAYMOND WEIL's watchmaking know-how can be admiredthanks to the see-through sapphire crystal case-back, which reveals the intricate décor ofthe RW 7200 movement with its Côtes de Genève decorated rotor, circular-graining plate,and train wheel bridges.
This unique timekeeper is supplied with a white full-skin alligator strap with façon sellierstitching.
